Answer: To remove the lid, locate a straight line indentation on the lid and an arrow on the barrel. Align these two markings, and the lid should lift off easily.

Question: I have lead downpipes and want to use this water butt. What should I do?

Answer: The water butt itself is fine, but attaching a diverter to lead downpipes can be tricky and potentially hazardous. We recommend using a specific diverter like the GRAF Speedy Rain Water Diverter, which involves drilling a hole in the downpipe. The necessary drill bit is included with this diverter.

Question: Is the inlet for the diverter pre-drilled on this water butt? What is its diameter?

Answer: Yes, the inlet for the diverter is pre-drilled for your convenience.

Question: Can I directly connect my guttering downpipe to the water butt?

Answer: Our medium-sized water butts are designed to be used with diverters and are not suited for direct downpipe connection.

Question: Is it possible to get a white diverter instead of a black one to match my downpipes?

Question: Can a hose be attached to the tap/spigot of this water butt?

Answer: The tap provided with our water butt is compatible with a hose lock, allowing for easy hose attachment.
