Technical Information
- Application: Insulation for tiled or slated pitched warm roof spaces.
- Thermal Conductivity: The thermal conductivity (or lambda value) shows how well a material can conduct heat. The lower the thermal conductivity, the better the insulator. Thermapitch TP10 has a thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/mK.
- Facings: Thermapitch TP10 is faced on both sides with a low emissivity composite foil, autohesively bonded to the insulation core during manufacture.
- Weight: Thermapitch TP10 has an approximate weight of 3.50 kg/m2 at a thickness of 100 mm.
-
Reaction to fire is measured with a Euroclass rating, more information on these ratings can be found here. Under System 4 AVCP, Thermapitch TP10 has a Euroclass rating of F.

Frequently Asked Questions:
What's the difference between the Kooltherm range and the Therma range?
Kooltherm stands out as an advanced phenolic insulation range, recognised for its remarkable thinness among commonly used insulation boards aimed at achieving specific U-values. This distinct feature enables you to enhance energy efficiency, reducing heating or cooling requirements, or, alternatively, to opt for thinner boards, thus maximizing available space within your building.
Therma, on the other hand, represents a range of PIR insulation boards. While it offers good thermal performance, it's essential to note that it may not match the exceptional thermal efficiency achieved by the Kooltherm range.
