The Novia 1200 VCL is a high-performance, CPR-compliant vapour control layer designed to limit the passage of water vapour in building structures. Manufactured from virgin grade polythene, this 1200 gauge (300-micron) membrane is intended for use on the interior (warm side) of insulated buildings, where it effectively regulates moisture movement and helps prevent condensation-related structural damage.
Fully CE-approved to EN 13984:2013, this robust VCL provides a superior barrier against water vapour, ensuring optimal building performance and energy efficiency. Without an effective vapour control layer, moisture accumulation within insulation can reduce its effectiveness by up to one-third, leading to higher heating and cooling costs.
