It effectively adheres ClassicBond EPDM to diverse materials like brick, render, timber, metals, plastics, concrete, and approved insulation materials. For large-scale commercial projects or areas exceeding 100 square meters, we recommend using ClassicBond Bonding Adhesive across the entire roof.

Important Note: This product should not be used on expanded polystyrene.

Application Instructions:

For Up-stands: Apply the adhesive evenly to both the up-stand and the rubber roofing membrane using a 4-inch mini roller.

Also, apply a 150mm wide strip of adhesive along the deck perimeter to prevent membrane lift due to structural movements. Wait for the adhesive to become touch dry before fitting the membrane to the up-stand or substrate.

For Non-Permeable Decks: Distribute the adhesive uniformly on both the deck surface and the underside of the membrane with a roller. Allow the adhesive to reach a touch dry state (approximately 5-20 minutes) before laying the membrane onto the deck.

Please note that repositioning the membrane is not feasible once it has been affixed with this adhesive
