Polyester Roof Sheets for roofing and cladding projects

Metal roof sheeting is a practical choice when you want strength, weather resistance and a clean finish without the upkeep of traditional materials. These Polyester Roof Sheets are designed for projects where value matters, but performance still needs to hold up season after season.

The polyester paint finish gives the sheet a smooth external surface, while the Aluzinc substrate helps protect the steel against corrosion. That makes the range a strong option for garden buildings, stables, lean-tos, storage units, workshops, garages and light commercial roofing.

Choose from box profile and corrugated sheets

Different profiles suit different projects. Box profile sheets give a sharp, modern look with clean lines, making them a popular choice for workshops, garages, industrial buildings and contemporary outbuildings. If you are searching for a box profile polyester coated steel sheet, the 32/1000 and 34/1000 profiles are both strong options.

The 13/3 corrugated profile has a more traditional appearance and works well for agricultural buildings, sheds, stables and classic outbuilding roofs. It is also a useful choice if you prefer the familiar wave pattern of older-style metal roofing. For customers comparing corrugated polyester roofing sheets, this profile offers a practical, recognisable finish.

Pick the right thickness

Our polyester coated roofing sheets are available in 0.5mm and 0.7mm thicknesses, giving you flexibility depending on the demands of your project.

The 0.5mm option is suitable for many general roofing and cladding uses where a lighter sheet is preferred. The 0.7mm option gives extra rigidity, making it a better choice for projects where strength, span or durability is especially important.

If you are unsure which thickness to choose, think about the building type, fixing support, exposure level and how robust the finished roof needs to feel. For larger, more exposed or harder-working projects, many customers choose the heavier gauge for added reassurance.

Smooth polyester paint finish

A polyester paint coated roof sheet is one of the most cost-effective metal roofing options available. It offers a smart painted finish, dependable weather protection and a clean appearance without the higher price point of more premium coatings.

Colour options include black, juniper green, slate blue, white and light grey, allowing you to match the roof to the building style, surroundings or existing exterior details. The finish is smooth rather than textured, giving a neat, practical surface for everyday roofing and cladding use.

Made to measure for a better fit

Every sheet in this collection is cut to size, helping reduce on-site waste and making it easier to order around your actual roof dimensions. With Trade Warehouse, you can choose the profile, thickness, colour and length that suits your project instead of trying to make standard stock lengths work.

990mm cover width when overlapped

The sheet width is 990mm when lapped. This is the important measurement to use when working out how many sheets you need across your roof, because each sheet overlaps the next during installation.

For example, do not calculate your coverage from the full un-lapped sheet width. Always plan using the effective cover width once the sheets are fitted together. This helps avoid under-ordering and makes your roofing layout more accurate.

Up to 5 metres in length

Sheets can be manufactured up to a maximum length of 5 metres. Longer sheets can reduce the number of horizontal joins required, helping create a cleaner and more weather-resistant roof finish when installed correctly.

A small tolerance of up to 0.25% variance in sheet length is accepted, which is standard for manufactured cut-to-size metal sheeting. Each sheet weighs approximately 4.9kg/m², making it strong but still manageable for suitable roofing and cladding projects.

Custom made with 2-week delivery

Because each sheet is made to order, delivery takes around 2 weeks. This lead time allows your order to be manufactured to the measurements and options selected.

Custom-made roofing sheets cannot be returned unless faulty, so please double-check your measurements, profile, thickness, colour and quantity before placing your order. It is always worth reviewing your roof plan, overlaps and any cuts before checkout.

Built for long-lasting protection

These sheets are designed for outdoor use and long-term performance. The Aluzinc substrate provides excellent corrosion resistance, helping protect the steel core against rust in typical environments.

The range is also independently tested to meet CE EN 14782 standards, giving you confidence that your roof sheeting has been manufactured to recognised quality requirements. That matters whether you are roofing a garden building, a farm structure or a commercial unit.

Low maintenance over time

One of the biggest advantages of polyester corrugated sheets and box profile sheets is the low level of upkeep required. In typical environments, the coating is engineered to last over 20 years, with the first repaint usually expected after around 8–12 years.

That makes the range a practical choice if you want a smart painted finish without regular repainting or intensive maintenance. As with any coated metal roof sheet, correct handling, fixing and installation will help protect the finish and extend performance.

Practical, reliable and easy to specify

This collection is built around straightforward choices: profile, thickness, colour and length. That makes it easier to specify the right sheet for the job, whether you are ordering for a small domestic roof or a larger trade project.

If you need a traditional look, choose corrugated. If you want a sharper, modern appearance, choose box profile. If you want extra rigidity, move up to 0.7mm. And if you want a clean, cost-effective painted finish, polyester coating gives you a reliable balance of performance and value.

Polyester roof sheet FAQs

What are Polyester Roof Sheets?

They are metal roofing sheets finished with a smooth polyester paint coating. The coating gives the sheet its coloured outer finish, while the steel and Aluzinc substrate provide strength and corrosion resistance.

Are these sheets plastic or metal?

These are metal roof sheets, not plastic roofing sheets. They are made from coated steel and designed for roofing and cladding applications where strength, weather resistance and durability are important.

Can I return cut-to-size roof sheets?

No, custom-made cut-to-size sheets cannot be returned unless faulty. Please check your measurements, profile, thickness, colour and quantity carefully before ordering.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery takes around 2 weeks because each order is manufactured to size. Trade Warehouse will supply your sheets based on the options and measurements selected at checkout.

What is the cover width once fitted?

The effective cover width is 990mm when the sheets are overlapped. Use this lapped width when calculating how many sheets you need across your roof.

How long do polyester coated metal sheets last?

They are engineered to last over 20 years in typical environments, with minimal maintenance and around 8–12 years before the first repaint is usually needed.
