Description
The Zambelli 80mm Natural Zinc Downpipe Diverter is a simple, manual way to direct rainwater from an 80mm downpipe into a water butt or collection container. Zambelli refers to this fitting as a rainwater pipe flap, with an interlocking flap that can be opened when you want to collect water and closed when you want rainwater to continue through the downpipe.
Why This Downpipe Diverter Works So Well
-
Designed for 80mm Zambelli downpipes
Made to fit neatly into the matching Natural Zinc rainwater system. -
Simple manual rainwater collection
Open the flap to divert rainwater into a barrel or container positioned beside the downpipe. -
Interlocking flap design
Zambelli's purpose-made flap gives you a straightforward way to control when rainwater is diverted. -
Without an integrated sieve
This version does not include the debris sieve found on the alternative filtered model, making it a simpler option where filtration is not required. -
Natural zinc construction
Matches the rest of the Zambelli Natural Zinc system and gradually develops its characteristic protective patina over time. -
Low-maintenance finish
No painting or decorative coating is required, helping retain the clean appearance of a metal rainwater system. -
Fully recyclable
Zinc can be recycled at the end of its service life, making it a strong alternative to plastic rainwater fittings.
How Is It Used?
The diverter is installed directly into the vertical 80mm downpipe. When rainwater is needed, the flap can be opened so water is discharged into an adjacent water butt or container. When collection is not required, the flap is closed so rainwater continues through the downpipe as normal.

Help with my new garage roof!
Trade Warehouse could not have been more helpful. They very patiently guided a roofing newbie through all of the stuff I would need to do the job and provided helpful tips along the way. It's rare to find a company offering such a fantastic level of customer service as standard. I would highly recommend them and will certainly use them again.

Garden Storage
My contractor (Charlie Keep) recommended you to me so I could order the materials online for delivery direct to my home. These were for a project to construct a Garden Storage Area. The materials were perfect and the whole process was simple and slick with materials delivered on time and very well packaged. Charlie has since completed the project & I am very happy with the outcome.
