Description
The Zambelli 80mm Natural Zinc Downpipe Shoe is fitted at the bottom of an 80mm downpipe to direct rainwater away from the wall and discharge point. Its curved outlet helps guide water in a controlled direction, making it a practical finishing fitting where the downpipe does not connect directly into underground drainage.
Why This Downpipe Shoe Works So Well
-
Designed for 80mm Zambelli downpipes
Purpose-made to fit the matching Zambelli Natural Zinc 80mm downpipe system. -
Directs water away from the wall
The curved shoe helps discharge rainwater clear of the building, reducing splashback around the base of the downpipe. -
Ideal where no underground connection is used
A practical option where rainwater is being discharged onto a suitable surface, channel or drainage area. -
Creates a neat finished end to the downpipe
Gives the bottom of the rainwater system a cleaner, more professional appearance. -
Matching natural zinc finish
Keeps the shoe consistent with the downpipe and other fittings across the installation. -
Develops a natural protective patina
The brighter zinc surface gradually weathers to the softer grey finish associated with natural zinc. -
Low-maintenance metal construction
No painting or decorative coating is required. -
Fully recyclable
Zinc can be recycled at the end of its service life, making it a strong alternative to plastic rainwater fittings.
Where Is a Downpipe Shoe Used?
A downpipe shoe is typically fitted at the bottom of the vertical pipe where rainwater needs to be discharged away from the wall rather than connected directly into a drain.
It helps control the direction of the water and provides a much neater termination than leaving the downpipe open-ended.

Help with my new garage roof!
Trade Warehouse could not have been more helpful. They very patiently guided a roofing newbie through all of the stuff I would need to do the job and provided helpful tips along the way. It's rare to find a company offering such a fantastic level of customer service as standard. I would highly recommend them and will certainly use them again.

Garden Storage
My contractor (Charlie Keep) recommended you to me so I could order the materials online for delivery direct to my home. These were for a project to construct a Garden Storage Area. The materials were perfect and the whole process was simple and slick with materials delivered on time and very well packaged. Charlie has since completed the project & I am very happy with the outcome.
