The Freefoam Ogee uPVC Fascia Cover Board is a 10mm capping board designed to fit over sound existing timber fascia. It is not a full replacement fascia. Instead, it gives an existing roofline a fresh, low-maintenance uPVC finish while retaining the original supporting fascia behind it.

What Is a Fascia Cover Board?
A fascia cover board, sometimes called a fascia capping board, is fitted over existing fascia rather than replacing it completely. This makes it a practical choice when the timber behind is still in good condition but the outside face looks tired, needs repainting or simply needs a cleaner finish.
The important bit is that the original fascia must be sound. A 10mm cover board should not be used to hide rotten, loose or badly damaged timber.

Why Choose an Ogee Profile?
The Ogee profile is mainly about appearance. Its curved lower edge gives the roofline a more decorative finish than a standard square fascia, making it particularly suitable for traditional homes, renovations and extensions where you want a little more detail around the eaves.
It still offers the practical benefits of uPVC, but with a softer and more traditional look.
Installation Advice
The existing fascia or supporting timber must be straight, secure and structurally sound before installation. Where gutter brackets are fitted, appropriate fixings should pass through the 10mm cover board and secure into the supporting timber behind rather than relying on the uPVC board alone.
Always measure the full fascia depth before ordering and allow for the relationship between the fascia, soffit and gutter line when choosing the correct width.
