The Freefoam 200mm uPVC Fascia Capping Board is designed for renovating an existing roofline where the original timber fascia is still structurally sound. Rather than removing the whole fascia system, this 10mm cover board fits over the existing board to create a clean, low-maintenance uPVC finish.
With a generous 200mm width and 5 metre length, it is particularly useful on deeper fascia runs where narrower cover boards would not provide enough coverage. A wide range of stocked colours also makes it easy to coordinate the roofline with windows, doors, guttering and soffits.

Why the 200mm Width Matters
The 200mm cover board is intended for rooflines where a narrower 150mm or 175mm board does not give enough face coverage. This can be common on properties with deeper eaves or larger existing timber fascia.
Before ordering, measure the actual fascia depth that needs covering rather than assuming the existing board is a standard size. Also consider how the fascia meets the soffit, guttering and any roofline trims, as these details can affect the width required.
Cover Board or Full Replacement Fascia?
This is one of the most important things to get right when choosing your fascia.

Do not use a cover board simply to hide rotten or badly deteriorated timber. If the existing fascia is soft, split, loose or structurally compromised, the underlying issue should be dealt with before the new roofline is installed.

Important Installation Advice
The existing fascia behind the cover board must be sound and securely fixed. The 10mm uPVC board itself should not be treated as the structural support for the guttering or roof edge.
Where gutter brackets are fitted, suitable fixings should pass through the uPVC fascia cover board and secure into the supporting timber behind. Always follow the appropriate Freefoam installation guidance for fixing centres, joints and allowance for movement.
It is also worth checking the condition of the soffit and roof ventilation while the fascia is being refurbished. Capping the fascia should not obstruct any ventilation required at the eaves.

Can I fit this over old timber fascia?
Yes, but only if the timber is sound, secure and suitable to remain in place. Rotten or structurally damaged fascia should not simply be covered.
Why would I choose 200mm instead of 175mm?
The 200mm board gives an additional 25mm of vertical coverage and is useful where the existing fascia is deeper.
Can the board be cut down?
Yes. The 5m board can be cut on site to suit the dimensions of the roofline.
What is the difference between Anthracite Grey Foil and Anthracite Grey Smooth Foil?
Both are Anthracite Grey, but the Smooth Foil option has a flatter, more contemporary surface appearance compared with the traditional textured foil.
Are matching corners and joints available?
