Description
The Freefoam 300mm Square uPVC Fascia End Cap is designed to neatly finish an exposed end of a compatible Freefoam fascia run. Rather than leaving the cut end of the fascia board visible, the end cap fits over the open edge to create a clean, colour-matched finish at the end of the roofline.
It is a small finishing component, but an important one where the fascia terminates rather than continuing into a joint or around a corner. Supplied at 300mm long, the trim can be cut down on site to suit the depth of the fascia board being installed.
What Is This Fascia End Cap Used For?
-
Finishing an exposed fascia end
Used where a fascia run stops and the cut end of the board would otherwise remain visible.
-
Creates a cleaner roofline finish
Covers the open board edge and gives the installation a more complete, professional appearance.
-
300mm length
Provides enough material for a wide range of fascia depths and can be trimmed down where required.
-
Colour-matched finish
Available in coordinating Freefoam finishes so the end cap blends with the surrounding fascia.
-
Low-maintenance uPVC
No painting or staining is required.
Where Would You Use an End Cap?
An end cap is used at the point where the fascia board finishes completely. Typical examples include the end of a roof run, certain gable or verge details, garages, porches, extensions and other roofline sections where the fascia does not continue into another board.
It is designed to hide the exposed board end rather than join two fascia boards together.
End Cap, Joint or Corner?
-
Fascia end cap
Finishes the exposed end of a fascia board. -
Fascia joint / joiner
Connects and finishes two fascia boards meeting end-to-end along a straight run. -
External corner
Used where fascia wraps around an outward-facing corner. -
Internal corner
Used where fascia runs meet inside a recessed corner.
If the fascia simply stops and you can see the cut edge, this is the type of trim you need.

Why Use the Proper Fascia End Cap?
Leaving the cut end of a fascia board exposed can make an otherwise tidy roofline look unfinished. A purpose-made end cap conceals that edge and continues the colour and finish around the end of the board.
Because the trim is supplied at 300mm, it can be measured against the fascia depth and carefully shortened on site before fitting.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does this fascia end cap do?
It covers and finishes the exposed end of a compatible square fascia board.
Is this used to join two fascia boards?
No. A fascia joint or joiner is used between two boards. This product is specifically for the end of a fascia run.
Does the fascia need to be 300mm wide?
No. The 300mm measurement refers to the length of the end cap. It can be cut down to suit narrower fascia depths.
Can I match it to coloured fascia?
Yes. Matching White, Anthracite Grey Foil, Black Ash and Rosewood options are available within this stocked range.
