The Freefoam 300mm uPVC Fascia Capping Board is designed for deeper roofline refurbishment where the existing timber fascia is still sound and suitable to remain in place. The 10mm cover board fits over the original fascia, giving a tired roof edge a clean, low-maintenance uPVC finish without the need for a complete fascia replacement.
At 300mm wide, this is one of the deepest options in the Freefoam Reveal Cover Board range. It is particularly useful where standard 150mm, 200mm or 250mm boards simply do not provide enough coverage, while the full 5 metre length helps keep the finished roofline neat with fewer joints.

When Would You Use a 300mm Cover Board?
The 300mm board is intended for rooflines where a particularly deep face needs covering. Using one correctly sized board generally gives a much neater result than trying to create the required coverage using multiple narrower sections.
Before ordering, measure the full fascia depth that needs to be covered. On older properties especially, dimensions can vary along the roofline, so checking several points before choosing the board width is worthwhile.

A cover board should never be used simply to hide rotten or badly damaged timber. If the fascia behind is soft, loose, split or structurally compromised, the underlying problem should be corrected before the roofline is finished.

Important Installation Advice
The existing timber fascia or suitable backing board must be sound and securely fixed before the 300mm cover board is installed. The 10mm uPVC board is not intended to provide structural support by itself.
Where gutter brackets are fitted, suitable fixings should pass through the new fascia cover board and secure into the supporting timber behind. It is also a good opportunity to check the condition of the soffits and make sure any required eaves ventilation remains unobstructed.
