Description

Novia Double-Sided Lap Tape is a high-performance sealing tape designed for use with breather membranes in roof and wall applications. Featuring a polyester scrim carrier with an acrylic dispersion adhesive, this tape provides a secure and reliable bond for sealing overlaps and joints, improving airtightness and protecting against external environmental conditions.

Supported by silicone-coated brown release paper, the tape is easy to apply and works in temperatures as low as -10°C (with care), though optimal performance is achieved at +5°C. Specifically developed for high-specification breather membrane installations, it offers enhanced strength and durability, making it an essential component in modern construction projects.

Installation Guidance

When breather membranes are installed in accordance with BS 5534 wind uplift requirements, a high-specification finish and improved airtightness can be achieved by using a two-tape sealing system, combining this tape with Breather Membrane Lap Tape.
