Comes with expansion bolts to fasten to stone/patio but we screwed it on decking.
It just looks really good at a great price.
This far surpassed my expectations for a £160 Pergola kit. First of all it’s well made, as in all the posts, beams and fittings are strong and feel unlikely to damage easily. The painted finish is thick and no chips have appeared, even when securing the feet to the floor. The fixings were well pressing in and not threads were cross threaded in manufacturing. I’ve fixed the pergola to our decking so it really is as easy and securing down with decking screws, to a well fixed decking which won’t allow it to blow away in strong winds. The sun shade is detachable so can go away when not in use or in bad weather, but it does have drainage holes in it so water can get away and not rip the canopy with the weight of it. Have attached festoon lights around it using stick on cable clips which work well and don’t foul the runner for the canopy. Needs two people to assemble, ideally 3-4 to carry it into position when built. We built it upside down on the grass to avoid scratches and for easy of access to the bolts.
