This Aluminium Flanged Gate Post is designed to complement the Aluminium Double Swing Driveway Gate from First Fence. Made from lightweight yet durable aluminium, it provides a reliable and sturdy solution for supporting gates in various installations.
Heavy-Duty and Versatile Design
With a 2400mm height, a 150mm x 150mm box section, and a 5mm wall thickness, this post is built for heavy-duty applications. It features a flanged base plate for secure fixing onto solid surfaces. For installations on softer ground, the base plate can either be removed or embedded into concrete, offering flexibility in different environments.
Built to Withstand the Elements
Manufactured from naturally corrosion-resistant aluminium, this post is ideal for long-term outdoor use. It is finished with a Polyester Powder Coating in black or grey for enhanced durability against wear and harsh weather. Additionally, aluminium strengthens in low temperatures, making it well-suited to the UK climate. It is also resistant to saline environments, making it an excellent choice for coastal areas.
Ideal for Various Installations
These posts are designed to match driveway gates and can be used as stand-alone supports when no wall is available or as fillers between a wall and a gate. However, if the gate is being installed between two existing walls, posts may not be necessary.
Low Maintenance and Easy to Clean
This product requires minimal upkeep—simply wash it down with soapy water and rinse off any residue to maintain its appearance and longevity.

Note: The base plates are designed to be fixed with M10 x 75mm Ground Anchors for a secure installation. If installed on softer ground, the base plate can be removed, allowing the post to be concreted in for additional stability.
