Description
These 2.4m 144mm x 19mm Iroko Shiplap cladding boards are a premium hardwood option for exterior projects where appearance and performance really matter. Iroko is a naturally oil-rich African hardwood, widely used in high-end joinery and exterior architecture thanks to its ability to perform in demanding outdoor conditions without the need for chemical treatment.
The shiplap profile creates a subtle overlapping joint that improves water run-off and adds a clean shadow line, giving walls a sharp, modern finish. With a 135mm face coverage, these boards provide excellent coverage while still delivering strong visual definition.
Freshly machined Iroko displays beautiful golden to medium brown tones, which naturally weather to an elegant silver-grey over time. To keep the warm colour for longer and add extra surface protection, we recommend using a high-quality wood oil or OSMO stain.
This profile is ideal for garden rooms, sheds, modern façades, outbuildings and architectural feature walls where you want a refined hardwood finish that will age gracefully.
